Ncell, one of the leading Telecom Company in Nepal has been providing GPRS/ 3G service with various data packages. In order to use GPRS/ 3G on your Android you should configure you APN in the settings.
Whenever you insert your SIM card into your handset, you get the configuration settings for GPRS/ 3G along with the MMS settings automatically via SMS from Ncell. You just have to save those settings and you are all set to use GPRS/ 3G on your android phone.
You can also receive the Ncell GPRS/ 3G settings by typing 'ALL' and sending SMS to 9595 or by dialling 9005 which is Ncell Customer care number and follow the instructions that you hear.
However if you don’t receive the Configuration settings or accidently deleted your Ncell settings for GPRS/ 3G, follow the instructions below to set Ncell GPRS/ 3G service on your Mobile Phone.
1. Go to 'Settings'.

2. Go to 'Wireless and Network' >> 'More'.

3. Go to 'Mobile networks' / 'Cellular networks'.

4. Choose the Ncell Network to which you want to activate GPRS/ 3G (for dual SIM Mobile Phones) and tap on 'Access Point Names'.

6. Tap on the Add button or on options button and tap on New APN.

7. Input the following values.
Name – Ncell
APN – Ncell

Proxy – 192.168.19.15
Port – 8080

8. Save the settings.

That’s it, now you simply have to turn your data connection on for surfing the internet using Ncell GPRS/ 3G service.
If you still have any problem activating Ncell 3G Service, you can contact the Ncell customer care by dialling 9005. (Note – Calling to 9005 is free for 30 calls every month. If it exceeds 30 calls within a month, Ncell charges Rs. 3 for each call made to this number)
